You may qualify for up to $10,000 in a government grant. This grant is for energy improvements made to a house. In a nutshell, you get the house energy tested (costs a net of around $300) do work, (windows, weatherproofing, furnace, etc.etc.), get the house retested and if the second testing confirms energy savings you qualify for the grants.
